Thea Mohr Saks studied fine art and illustration at Parsons School of Design and the School of Visual Arts in New York. Her work is inspired by drawings and prints from centuries past and explores her interest in folklore, fantasy, and classic tales of haunted houses and graveyards. She and her husband, set designer Daniel Saks, founded The Mighty Squirm, a company utilizing letterpress and screen-printing to produce "T-Shirts and Art with Romance and a Slight Chill,"
